Ingredients
  

Bacon Crackers

  • 1 box buttery crackers approx. 40 crackers
  • 1 lb regular-cut bacon cut into halves or thirds
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for caramelized sweetness
  • cayenne pepper or paprika optional, for heat

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a cooling rack on top.
  • Wrap each cracker with a piece of bacon, ensuring it overlaps slightly to hold together.
  • Place the wrapped crackers seam-side down on the cooling rack.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar over each bacon-wrapped cracker. For a spicy twist, add a pinch of cayenne or paprika.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the sugar is caramelized.
  • Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Try variations like adding a slice of jalapeño for heat or drizzling with maple syrup before baking for extra sweetness.
