  • 1 lb ground beef 85% lean
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sage dried
  • 1/2 tsp thyme dried
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp brown sugar optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef with salt, pepper, sage, thyme, garlic powder, paprika, and brown sugar.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly until evenly combined.
  • Shape the mixture into small patties or sausage links.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with oil.
  • Cook the sausage patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
  • Serve hot with eggs, toast, or your favorite breakfast side.

Notes

For extra juiciness, use 85% lean ground beef. Adjust seasonings to your preference. You can also freeze raw patties for later use.
