Ingredients

Brie Cheese Bites

  • 1 small wheel Brie cheese about 12 oz
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 large egg for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp butter for greasing
  • Toppings (jam, honey, nuts, etc.) as desired

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or baking sheet with butter.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into small squares (about 2-3 inches each).
  • Cut the Brie into 1-inch cubes and place one cube in the center of each pastry square.
  • Add desired toppings such as jam, nuts, or honey.
  • Fold the corners of the pastry over the Brie, pinching them together to seal. Alternatively, leave the center open.
  • Brush each bite with egg wash for a golden finish.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
