Ingredients
  

Salad Ingredients

  • 3 cups broccoli florets chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 cups cauliflower florets chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup red onion diced
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits optional
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup raisins or cranberries optional
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds optional

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt optional for a lighter version
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar or honey
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Wash and chop the broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  • Dice the red onion and prepare any additional ingredients (cheese, bacon, raisins, sunflower seeds).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, apple cider vinegar, sugar or honey, salt, and pepper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped vegetables, bacon bits (if using), shredded cheese, raisins, and sunflower seeds.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to ensure even coating.
  • Cover and let the salad rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize this salad with additional nuts, seeds, or fruit. For a dairy-free version, omit the cheese and use a plant-based mayo substitute.
