  • 12 oz Pasta (penne or rigatoni) Cooked al dente
  • 2 cups Shredded chicken Rotisserie or cooked chicken
  • 1 cup Buffalo sauce Choose your favorite brand
  • 4 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese Sharp for best flavor
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese For a gooey topping
  • 1/4 cup Butter For sauce, melted
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, melted butter, and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  • Add the cooked pasta and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture to the greased casserole dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • For a crispy top, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Notes

Adjust spice level by using mild hot sauce or adding extra cream cheese to mellow the heat. For extra crunch, top with breadcrumbs before baking.
