Instructions
Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat.
In the slow cooker, add the uncooked rice at the bottom, followed by the broth.
Layer the cooked beef on top and add seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper).
Optionally, add in chopped vegetables for extra texture and flavor.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Set the slow cooker to LOW for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours. Avoid opening the lid frequently to retain steam.
Once cooked, stir gently to combine everything, serve warm, and enjoy!
Notes
Customize with different cheeses like mozzarella or Monterey Jack for a unique twist. You can also add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy kick!
