Ingredients
  

Mousse Base

  • 1 cup cottage cheese full-fat for creamier texture
  • 2 oz dark chocolate 70% cocoa or higher, melted
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup for sweetness
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt to balance flavors

Instructions
 

  • Blend the cottage cheese until completely smooth in a blender or food processor.
  • Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals.
  • Add the melted chocolate, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and salt to the blended cottage cheese.
  • Blend again until the mixture is silky smooth.
  • Transfer the mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  • Garnish with fresh berries, whipped cream, or shaved chocolate before serving.

Notes

For a vegan option, replace cottage cheese with blended silken tofu. Adjust sweetness to taste.
