Ingredients
  

Steak

  • 1 piece Ribeye steak 12 oz, boneless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Pasta and Sauce

  • 8 oz fettuccine or tagliatelle
  • 4 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Add Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth.
  • Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, coating evenly.
  • Top with sliced steak and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
