Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Filling Options

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter (for brushing) melted

Instructions
 

  • Combine the flour, yeast, salt, and warm water in a bowl. Mix and knead until a smooth dough forms.
  • Cover and let the dough rise for 30 minutes until doubled in size.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into 8 rectangles.
  • Spread a small amount of marinara sauce on each piece, leaving a border.
  • Add cheese and pepperoni slices on top of the sauce.
  • Fold the dough over and press edges to seal, using a fork if needed.
  • Place on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

You can customize the fillings with ham, cheddar, spinach, feta, BBQ chicken, or even Nutella and banana for a sweet version.
