Ingredients
  

Chocolate Cookies

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Fudge Filling

  • 1/2 cup fudge frosting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda.
  • Cream the butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla in another bowl until fluffy.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Combine until smooth.
  • Scoop small dollops of the dough onto the baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes and let cool completely.
  • Once cooled, sandwich a dollop of fudge frosting between two cookies. Enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, try using dark cocoa powder or adding a pinch of espresso powder to the dough.
