Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, black pepper, and parsley.
Mix the ingredients by hand until well incorporated.
Flatten the meat mixture on a piece of parchment paper into a rectangular shape.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the flattened meat.
Carefully roll the meat mixture into a loaf shape, ensuring the cheese stays inside.
Transfer the meatloaf to a baking dish, seam-side down.
Spread marinara sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding thinly sliced prosciutto or sautéed spinach inside the filling before rolling.
