  • 2 rockfish fillets fresh or thawed
  • 3 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the rockfish fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Place the fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and remaining butter to the skillet. Squeeze in the lemon juice and let it simmer for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of paprika or cayenne pepper to the fillets before cooking.
