Ingredients
  

Taco Shells

  • 12 mini tortillas corn or flour

Filling Options

  • 1/2 lb ground beef or shredded chicken, pulled pork, or grilled shrimp
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup black beans or refried beans

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or guacamole
  • 1/4 cup salsa

Instructions
 

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef (or chosen protein) with taco seasoning until fully cooked.
  • Warm the mini tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side to make them pliable.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing a spoonful of cooked protein or beans onto each tortilla.
  • Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and desired toppings like sour cream or salsa.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges if desired.
