  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 6-8 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar optional

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in Cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  • Add lemon juice and brown sugar (if using) and mix well.
  • Simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until well combined.
  • Serve warm with seafood, drizzled over or as a dipping sauce.

Notes

Adjust the spice level by modifying the red pepper flakes. For a milder sauce, reduce or omit them. This sauce pairs best with shrimp, crab legs, lobster, and mussels.
