honey

cornstarch

Instructions
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
Whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and olive oil in a bowl. Add cornstarch if using.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken pieces for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden.
Pour the sauce over the chicken, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
Remove the lid and increase heat to medium. Let the sauce reduce until thick and caramelized.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 1 hour before cooking.
