Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs or drumsticks approx. 8 pieces

Sticky Sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch optional, for thickening

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and olive oil in a bowl. Add cornstarch if using.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken pieces for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Remove the lid and increase heat to medium. Let the sauce reduce until thick and caramelized.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 1 hour before cooking.
