Ingredients
  

Tuna Patties

  • 2 cups fresh or canned tuna drained if canned
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix tuna, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties.
  • Chill patties in the fridge for at least 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook patties for about 3–5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Serve on a bun or lettuce wrap with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding feta cheese, chili flakes, or a splash of soy sauce to the mix.
